The Alma ClearLift, often referred to as the “lunchtime lift” is a comfortable alternative to traditional laser skin resurfacing. The Clearlift uses a non-ablative approach for correcting challenging skin imperfections and can be performed on all skin types with virtually no downtime. The ClearLift works below the surface of the skin and is gentle enough to treat the most delicate areas of the face, neck and décolleté.
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Skin laxity
- Pigmented lesions
- Vascular lesions
- Scars (including acne scars and stretch marks)
How does ClearLift work?
The ClearLift is a 1064 Nd:YAG Q-switch module that uses fractional Q-Switch technology to deliver controlled powerful laser pulses to the dermis in nanoseconds. Because the energy is delivered so quickly, the surrounding tissue is unharmed. These powerful laser pulses shatter tiny fragments of ink or pigmentation and stimulate collagen production within the dermis without harming the outer layer of the skin.
What to expect during treatment
The ClearLift treatment is virtually painless so no numbing is required. The skin will be cleansed prior to treatment and appropriate protective eyewear is required. When the treatment is completed a moisturizing cream is applied and patients can return to their normal activities with no lingering redness, swelling or discomfort.
Treatment times will vary based on the area being treated, but can take as little as 20 minutes. Results can be noticed after a single treatment, however an average of 4 treatments are recommended for full results.
