3 Things Men & Women Do Not Expect After CoolSculpting®
Minimally invasive, CoolSculpting has few lasting side effects. Although highly effective at reducing stubborn pockets of fat, men and women sometimes come into their initial consultation with the belief that CoolSculpting will magically transform their figure. As a board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Kramer always advocates for a well-educated patient as well as a thoughtful and well-informed decision. With this in mind, we would like to share three things our patients do not always know about CoolSculpting.
The Cool Clump
As your fat cells crystallize, they assume the shape of the CoolSculpting applicator. Cleverly coined the “cool clump,” many patients say that it reminds them of a stick of butter. Patty, a registered nurse and our resident CoolSculpting expert, will gently massage the area—further breaking up fat cells and facilitating their removal. It Takes Time to See Your Results
It takes your body time to eliminate the fat cells that were killed during CoolSculpting. You will notice gradual results as your body metabolizes and expels the cells. Most of our patients see full results after about two to three months after their CoolSculpting session. You May Need More than One Treatment
On average, patients see a reduction of up to 25 percent per CoolSculpting session. While some patients will have great results after only one session, many can benefit from a second and third session. As with any procedure, optimal results vary from patient to patient.Tailored to You at Kramer Plastic Surgery
Loving the results that are possible with CoolSculpting, our patients also appreciate Dr. Kramer’s expertise. Unique to Kramer Plastic Surgery, Dr. Kramer is the only board certified plastic surgeon offering CoolSculpting in the Boise area. During your consultation, Dr. Kramer is careful to evaluate your body to better identify if CoolSculpting is the best treatment to help you achieve the results you want. While amazingly effective, there are times when another form of body contouring is better suited for your needs. Together with Dr. Kramer, we are dedicated to helping you make the best decision. We would be happy to schedule a time for you to discuss the ins-and-outs of CoolSculpting and how it can help you achieve your goals.
